October with its rich fruit has blessed us this year. From our own harvest we managed to gather in this moon a kind of riches as follows: grapes, corn, peppers, potatoes and last but not least APPLES, a very rich apple harvest. We thank the Lord for all the gifts he has given us. (1-6)

          We've picked new apples, we've picked it up, and it looks like it's not over yet ... but to our joy, helpers came in this direction.

          Jim and Esther, two old friends from America, together with Radu Sandu, one of our children whom we split up about 6 years ago and now is settled in Sibiu, they decided to make a visit accompanied by many surprises for children: pizza, juices, chips ... and as I said, they accompanied us and picked apples in the orchard. It was a very pleasant atmosphere when, the little ones and the big ones, with the two "grandparents in America", with Radu, we spent time together, enjoying the rich fruits of the trees.. We are blessed by the friends who visit us and remember that we have a large family spread all over the world..(7-9)

          Another consistent help we received was a team of 14 people from Switzerland. Their stay at Casa Ray was for 10 days, which is why we were able to tie up the close friends and have various activities that delighted our children and helped us out for Casa Ray: we had fellowship, we visited the Philadelphia Church in Bodesti, a manual work, balloon creations, again fellowship and experience sharing, we received help in replacing the faulty faucets, repaired doors, refurbished the floors in the places where the new thermal installation, we received help in cutting, chopping and placing a wood car, and last but not least we got help in collecting the APPLES :) (10-26)

          Also in these 10 days, we had the opportunity to celebrate Madalin's anniversary, which celebrated the beautiful age of 15 years. God bless him and grow up a beautiful adult to stature and character. (27) Finally, three more children have finally arrived in our family: Ionela, Vasile and Gheorghita. The procedures for their integration into Casa Ray had started two months ago, but have just been finalized.

          Their short story is like this: their mother is a 26-year-old irresponsible young woman who gave birth to 5 children, one of whom died when he was only a few months old, because he was not properly cared for and another child is recognized by his father, in whose care he is currently. About Ionela (9 years old), Vasile (6 years old) and Gheorghita (5 years old), they have a line on the birth certificate instead of the father. Being abandoned by their mother, who is in a constant search for new relationships, the three brothers were in the care of their maternal grandparents. Unfortunately, in February this year, the grandfather of the children died, and just two months after the sad event, the grandmother had to be hospitalized for a long time, being sick of TB. At the time the children were taken by Child Protection, they were alone for three weeks alone, only the neighbors passed from time to time to them. Sad reality, cruel life .. but hopefully at Casa Ray, the children will regain their wings that have been broken and thus be able to continue their journey in life without major obstacles. (28-30)

          To end with the visits chapter, we also want to mention the visit of friends in Germany, Andreasandi Dan. They were accompanied by a professional team who made a reportage about Casa Ray. God to reward them for their effort and interest in the children in Romania. (31)

          We would like to extend our thanks to Mrs. Kathia from Germany who, with much love, has sent a packet of clothes and shoes for children. (32) Also, thousands of thanks to friends in America, the Dolha family and the Heisey family who helped us in building a very important project for our home. The House Ray carpentry is very old and the passage of time has put its mark on it: the windows and doors do not close tightly, sometimes enter the water, the curtains are waving when the wind is stronger outside, at one of the bedrooms we even had the window supported with a stick to not fall, but now, thanks to this help, we managed to change the windows upstairs, with a few exceptions, and we changes also another 4 doors. There is still much to change, but we are very pleased with this important beginning. (33,34)
