The month of February, the last month of winter, was like a late, cold autumn, as was the whole winter we had this year.

          Due to these high temperatures this season, the respiratory viruses that haunted us have affected many of our children. Only 5 of the boys resisted without getting sick, on the other hand all the other 14 went through conditions from the easiest to the most complicated. We cannot say that these viruses have passed completely, but they have reduced and are beginning to approach the end. We thank all those who support us in the medical field. We have months when these expenses far exceed the allocated budget. (picture 01)

          With joy we can let you know that the little ones started a fellowship group, a group that Doinita herself is dealing with, one of the big girls. We are glad that they find such concerns and that the big ones apply in their turn what they were taught. (pictures 2-4)

          We also have apprentices in the field of machine repairs and manual work, apprentices we are also pleased with! (pictures 5-10)

          We started cleaning the trees around the house and also the trees in the orchard. As a result of this cleaning, tens of thousands of twigs were obtained, which are thinner, which are thicker, but… there are many for sure. Besides this, many of the trees in the orchard are too old and no longer bear fruit, having to be cut, which will result in tens of thousands more branches. We stayed and thought how we could use this large amount of wood and we came to the conclusion that we would be very useful a log sawmill. If anyone could help us in purchasing this machine, we assure you that it would be a very important help for us. We let pictures talk about that! (pictures 11-15)

          The branches we could chop and use to heat the building would reduce the number of logs we have to buy year by year. And in February we had to buy another wood car to prepare the stock for next winter. (picture 16)

          Also in the acquisitions category, we should mention that we replaced the old bookcase in the club, a closet that has served us with faith for 20 years, but which "has exhausted its resources". In addition to this I have purchased some footwear cabinets. The children wore size 35 for shoes until recently, but now ... they have also reached size 43, which forced us to create new places for shoes. (pictures 17-21)

          In our flock we have 4 new goats, beautiful and playful, but they do not like to sit to pictures J (pictures 22,23)

          This month the children were more fulfilled with the reading, the maintenance of the household, the raising of animals, various meetings and ... the anniversary of Ionut, who turned 19 years old. May the Lord bless him fully! (pictures 24-28)

          Last but not least, we thank our friends in Germany, who visited us in February. We had a great time together, in which we shared our experiences, needs, achievements, future plans etc. We are glad to have wonderful people with us in this work. (pictures 29,30)

          They also received a visit by Gabriela and Dumitrita. Their mother came to them, but the visit did not go very well, being a very tense moment and full of tears than a moment to bring joy. The girls do not want to accept their mother at all and panic when they hear that she has come to visit. They reproach themselves with all sorts of things and break up sadly. This situation is to be lamented, but we hope that it will correct with the passage of time. (picture 31)

          Finally we want to announce with great joy that God helped us, through many people, to buy the farm from the Hope House. This fact is a wonder to us and we have no words of gratitude. As I said, this property is very important for the smooth running of the house and with the help of the Lord it will be of greater use from now on. We want with the help of the Lord to develop the farm and the agricultural sector, so that most products will be purchased from there.
