The autumn with its rich fruits came to us! We almost managed to fill the cellar and pantry with food and grain for the winter. We thank God that this year also gave rain in the right time, and we also want to thank the communities of Ciohorani, Oboroceni, Helesteni, Urecheni and Suceava, who also donated part of their crops to the children in Casa Ray. God should reward all tenfold, at least! (1-9)

          At the same time with the arrival of October came the specific activities of this season. Especially activities that relate to beautifully colored leaves: sweeping the alleys full of leaves, photographing the leaves, filling the bags with leaves, which we used as an animal bed, playing with the leaves etc. (10-14)

          Besides these, sculpting in pumpkins (15), reconditioning rusted fences (16), correcting behavior by repeating in writing things that should not be done, such as "I'm not allowed to give nicknames to children!” (17), dish washing (18), homework (19), practicing English language (20) and so on.

          In addition to the daily routine, Casa Ray's children also took part in this occasion and some occasional activities that surely brought them great joy, such as going to McDonald's J We received the Marchal Robert and Rachel family visit with their daughter, Salome, from Switzerland, they chose one day to make this surprise to the children. We thank them from the heart for the children! (21-23)

          Cristina was full of joy when one day she received a gift from a German family who "adopted" her and cared for her in this way. We thank them in Cristina’s name. (24) We thank the American friends on behalf of all the children because they thought about us when the cold came J (25, 26)

          In October, the minibus with the trailer arrived. We do not have enough words of thanks for this gift. Besides, they did not come empty, but filled with clothes and sports equipment for the "gym" we have. Boys are just waiting to start "training.” (27,28,29)

          During this time we received the visit of several friends from: Ireland, Germany and Switzerland. We are glad that God has always hearty people who are interested in getting involved in helping those in need. We continue to pray (and we ask you to support us in prayer) to find constant sponsors for 8 of our children. (30-34)

          Ana Guguianu turned 18 on October 10th. Now that it is major, we pray that God will help her make the most wise decisions for her life. Unfortunately almost the whole of October struggled with an allergy to the left eye, but glory to the Lord, now is good. (35)

          The smoke detection system has done its job! One day the alarm sounded, and the control panel indicated the laundry. We ran to that place, and we shuddered in the room. At the ceiling there was a whitish steam that gave us a thrill on the spinal cord, but immediately we realized that it was not smoke, but hot steam coming from a hose that had ruptured at one of the washing machines. There was hot water all over the place, but due to the alarm, we managed to stop it in time, so the flood that was, did not start to damage something irreversible. Everything is fine, when it ends well! (36)

          At the end of the fall, the children had a short snow and a visit to the church of Ciohorani. There they had a nice time with the young people in that locality. Thank you for hospitality. (37.38)
