For us at Casa Ray, November was like the "Scottish shower," pleasant events woven with sad events.

          For the first time, we received with the goodwill of the friends from Neamt  and Suceava County, cereal for animals, but also for the consumption in our kitchen. Without this kind of donation, it would be very difficult for us to keep the animal farm on our hands, which is why we greatly appreciate this help. God to reward all the loyal donors!! (1-3)

          Unfortunately, in November there was a “reckoning” over Casa Ray, when Mother Tatiana had to go through a rather complicated surgery. Due to some incidents caused by older operations and constantly deposited effort, the colon has been incarcerated, so she had to be hospitalized and operated urgently. We all stood there, not knowing if her heart, which has many problems, will resist this surgery, but thank God, He listened to the prayer of the hundreds of people who cried to Him and did not allow the orphans of Casa Ray to remain once more orphans. Now, more than a month after the surgery, we can breathe easily because we see the mother almost 100% recovered, again among us as in the old days. (4)

          As mentioned last month, with the help of American's friends, we managed to change some of the windows and doors. We still need funds to complete this project, around 4000 euros, but step by step we think God will give us the necessary resources. We have to continue this project because we have rooms where molds have formed because of temperature differences.

          As a result of changing the windows, the necessary repairs were needed at the window sills, so we finished by cleaning each room with a fresh lime. We also changed some beds that were broken because of many generations who used them. Thank you, friend Katy Ted from England for the new beds. God reward her!(5-8)

          With God's help we managed to put the pickled cabbage, 4 large barrels of 200 kg piece. For so many people, so much is needed!! (9)

          As far as flesh is concerned, here we were also blessed with 8 "new-born" piglets J (10,11)

          Also in the chapter of blessings: Tom and Pia, the two lovely youngsters who visited us this summer, sent shoes to the children (12),  and Dolha family blessed us with clothes and shoes for children.(13-16)

          Be very blessed! Children grew up, and adolescent clothes are quite expensive, as do footwear. Your help is welcome!

          Because the first semester of school is almost at the end, children are "plugged in" with the learning. Everybody pulls for the best grade! (17-19)

          In November, Casa Ray enjoyed the visit of two friends from Germany, Michaela and Dr. Row. We spent together 3 beautiful days in which we were able to share experiences, the children received little attention, and our guests could get to know our area better. We thank them for the time they gave to the children of Casa Ray. (20,21)

          Last autumn has ended with a surprise coming from the sky, which has taken us by surprise, because in recent years we had only snow in the month of January. The children enjoyed a great deal and can not deny that it is a joy to see the white carpet that has covered our area. (22-28)

          Looking back to this month, besides the thanks we give you, we are grateful for your compassion and prayers that we felt in the difficult moments we have been through. God should return the good you have done to us!
