Yes! The spring is here! Finally, the children can spend more time outside. The atmosphere outside can not be compared to being indoors! (1-3)

           Because it still gets cold every once in a while, the packages sent by Dolha family from the USA were very much appreciated. The children have been very excited by the clothes items they received and they thank you very much! (4-5)

           We are glad to announce you that once the spring is here, we have a new “flower” sent by God in Gavril Matei and Madalina's family. The little Abigail is now the smallest to everyone's delight (6-7).

           Regarding the donations and aquisitions, in March we have been blessed with a transport from Germany. We have asked some old friends to help us with furniture for the new buildings. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! Their donations have saved us a lot of money (8).

           In the small boys room, the dresser was completely broken. We fixed it a thousand times so when it crashed we had to order a new one. We hope this new one will last longer!! (9)

           The swings have been fixed and we hope the new balancing system will not give us as much trouble as the old one did. We are now ready for the spring season. (10-11)

           The last purchase were the fire wood 8 000 RON (1800euro), (1900$). All these will turn into ashes next winter! SAD! (12)

           This month we celebrated Cristina. She turned 12 on the 18th of March! May GOD bless her with many beautiful years! (13-14)

           The children were very glad to spend time with a young girl from Germany who came to visit them! They are always happy to meet new people! (15) They also participated to some special nights at the Penticostal Church from Piatra Neamt (16).

            Since spring is here we are getting more and more involved in all kinds of chores and we discovered more and more how handy our children are: work in the house, in the garden, in the yard, repurposing things that have been affected by the fire (17-32). Of course that after so much work we look like this...(33) but the satisfaction is very big when everything is clean and put to its place ( 34-35).

            Report for construction - March 2017

            The good weather helped us a lot with the works on the new buildings in March. Many rooms are almost ready.

  Pictures 1 and 2: Storage room for goods has been finalised (tiles and paint), it still needs finishing the existing shelves and buying more shelves for the other walls. 

  Picture 3: Storage room for cereals has been finished (tiles and paint) , it still needs shelves.

  Picture 4: Heating system room is done (tiles and paint). We have to buy the heating system, the materials for it and the hand work.

  Picture 5: The attic floor to one of the buildings has been insulated and plaqued with OSB wood. 

  Pictures 6 and 7: The big room for meetings and anniversaries and the bathroom is almost done. It still needs to be polished and painted, the parquet on the floor, sanitaries, electrics and furniture.

  Pictures 8 and 9: Playing room and the bathroom are almost done, it still needs paint, parquet, sanitaries, electrics and all the sports devices.

  Pictures 10 and 11: guest apartment is almost done, it still needs paint, parquet, sanitaries, electrics and furniture.

  Pictures 12-15: and over-all image of the whole yard (12), storage rooms and wood shacks have been taken out (13). With the saved materials, we re-did other storage rooms for wood and tools (14-17). They have been placed further from the new constructions, creating a larger playing space for the children and a nicer image of the yard.

             We are very appreciative to God and to everyone who has helped so far to have again the things we lost in the fire! God bless you!
