We could not finish the cleaning after the fire by the end of January and we continued all February: 8 big trucks full of dirt and ashes. But let's forget about the  past and look into the future!!(1-5)

             We donated all the iron left after the cleaning to a poor family in Targu Neamt who also had their  house on  fire two months ago and they had to repair the roof.(6)

             We also used as fuel the wood that was left unburned.(7,8)

             After we got rid of the dirt we tore down the walls that were still standing. Now everything is cleared and ready for the new construction.(9-13)

             Alexandra celebrated her birthday this month and she has stepped into a new stage of her life : she is an adult now... She was only 2 and a half when she first  came to Casa Ray and now she is a lady in the true meaning of the word. We are thankful to God for her transformation. Ionut has also turned 15, he is in the 8th grade and he will soon go to highschool.(14-16)

             After the fire we had a Fire Department check out. Three gentleman came and checked out every inch of the property and they explained what changes we have to make to be safe. They also did a fire evacuation drill and they showed the children how to use an extinguisher. The children were very happy about this experience.(17-20)

             Andrusca and her father in law visited us and we were very happy to see her again and we feel the same about every child who grew up at Casa Ray comes back to see us. Ciprian, Ionut and Tudor also came to see us again so we talked a lot about all the situations we have been through together.(21,22)

             We received a small donation consisting of sodas which made our children very happy. After a good meal and a good drink, every sorrow seems easier.(23,24)

              Because this was a very hard month and the children worked a lot to clean out after the fire, we decided to reward them with a Mac Donalds' meal. After we came back from a church in Bacau we stopped and we fulfilled this promise.(25,26)

              The winter has lost some power so we were able to cut some wood that we bought last fall, this way they will dry out all spring, summer and fall so having maximum efficiency.(27)

             Because it is not so freezing cold , the children started to get out more and play in the yard. Running in the yard brings them joy but also lots of bruises.(28, 29)

              At the end of the month , the big children were invited to a church in Valea Ursului. They really appreciated the invitation and they enjoyed it as a mini trip.(30)

              We didn't think it is possible but we  managed to buy the iron and some BCA (bricks) for the new construction. We got a good price for them so we bought them.(31,32)

               February was completed in a very pleasant way especially for Vacaru brothers who received a visit from an uncle of theirs ( 33). The rest of us cherished the visit of a really dear friend of ours called Raymond Deamer, Casa Ray was called after his name.( 34,35 )

              This being said, we say good bye to the winter and we hope that new things will blossom at Casa Ray now that the spring get closer.
