Madalin was brought in Dobreni village, Neamt county, at a relative who promised to raise Madalin and take him to the local school. He comes from a family with 6 children ( one is dead ) and the father died in 2007. Madalin remembers how his father was feeling very bad, he went to the hospital and came back dead.

         The relative that was supposed to take care of Madalin contacted us to accept Madalin in our Day Care Center. His mother agreed.

         At the addmition in our center we agreed that Madalin will receive 2 meals ( lunch and dinner), clothes, social assistance, homework assistance and hygiene education. The condition was that Madalin was supposed to go to this relative's home for the night. Since no one came for him we took Madalin home. We were struck by what we found there. There were 2 people very drunk who were crawling from one place to another . We found the same situation for a month in a row. During this time Madalin was asking us in tears not to take him there any more.

         So, we started making the necessary documents for Madalin's placement in Casa Ray. So now, Madalin has his own legal  place at Casa Ray with a warm bed, 3 meals per day and the company of the other children.

         He is a respectful, intelligent boy and we do not regret giving him a chance. He likes very much the games that develops the mind like chess that's why the other children call him " the old guy ".
