Blessings in the new year, dear collaborators!

          May all the possible hardships of 2022 make you stronger and may all the joys of 2022 form a heart full of gratitude.

          In short, we want to present you some aspects from the last month of 2021, December, the month of gifts.

          As every year, the beginning of this month was marked by the decoration of the house, both inside and outside, which makes us happy and gives us the strength to do all the things with joy, while we hum carols. (pictures 1 and 2)

          Of course, the traditional "Christmas cleaning" followed when each room was lined up and made "extremely tidy", the garden was also cleaned, the shed was supplied with wood and so on. (picture 3)

          The first gifts arrived at the children at Casa Ray on December 6, when most of the gifts arrive in the slippers of most children. Thanks to Heike and her team for this surprise. We hug you dearly! (pictures 4-7)

          We enjoyed the visit of some new friends from Italy, with whom we have been collaborating for a year, but with whom we feel so good as if we knew each other for a lifetime. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the effort made to cover so many kilometers, but also for the joys brought to the children by the gifts offered and the other goods and food. You are precious and thank you! (pictures 8-11)

          We would also like to thank from the bottom of our hearts those who poured out countless blessings on us on the occasion of the birth of the Lord, or who cared in part for a child of ours or out of the home, and we hope not to forget any of them: Miriam Lohn, Smile SAssociation, the friends from Alba Iulia, Pascal Prod Com, Mr.Cojocaru, Bones Organization (Frank and Thomas), Rivaldinio, Diakonia, Kathia, AMRO, Hans Alt, Joachim Bartels, Silke Kratz, Florentina Baltianu, Pentecostal church, the friends from Roman, Asclepion Clinic and NordArin. Without you, the joy of the children would have been lacking, without your attention and care the children would have been widowed by many blessings. May God reward you all! (pictures 12-20)

          After a lot of work, after many dishes and desserts, we managed to have with the children a very beautiful celebration that was eagerly awaited, in which we were able to sing carols and recite poems to the glory of the One who more than 2000 years ago chose to descend from glory in our world, for our good. Melancholy was in the air and we all missed my mother, but we tried to overcome this state of affairs and enjoy the moments spent together and of course the gifts received. (pictures 21-33)

          On the eve, the children went caroling with great joy, especially since 2020 was a year in which they took a break from this activity, (pictures 34-37) and on this day we were blessed with a calf, the tenth member of our family of cattle. (picture 38)

          The end of the month meant relaxation and rest for all of us. Some of the girls were invited to an activity where they talked about friendship and where they felt very good. (pictures 39-42), other children and young people attended some anniversaries (pictures 43,44), others felt good at home (pictures 45,46) and we all felt good together on the birthdays of Benjamin and Loredana, our 8th and 9th birthday. (pictures 47-49)

          Therefore, December was a busy and demanding month, but it showed us once again that we are not alone, that we are loved by God and by our fellow men. We love you and…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
