Event in January and February 2019

We want to begin with thanks to God for the beginning of 2019 was quiet and without unpleasant events.

The month of January, being a stagnant winter month, allowed us to have only classical indoor activities such as: music lessons, diverse manual work, household chores, intensive learning and study, and last but not least, preparation of food, in many cases with own farm products, large turkeys of 20 kg. (pictures 1-5)

We managed to go with a lot of children to an ophthalmologic control during this time. So far six of them need glasses, we'll see what will be after we manage to go with the second row of children to control. (picture 6)

In terms of arrangements, small changes had to be made at the entrance hall, as the walls were a shingle, considered flammable by the Department of Emergency Situations. We have now complied and everything is in line with standards. (pictures 7,8)

With the help of the Lord and the goodwill of friends in Germany, we received clothing and footwear for children. Once the heat comes, we will select these clothes, and many families in need will benefit from the surplus. (pictures 9-11)

Delaco has blessed us again with a donation of cheese, for which we are extremely grateful! Such donations are like fresh air for our budget, so we pray that God will reward all of you! (picture 12)

In the middle of February, exactly on the 12th day, Ionut Dodita became grown-up, reaching the beautiful age of 18 years! We want all the good in the world and we pray that all the decisions he takes will be taken with wisdom and lead him only on bright roads. (picture 13)

Because the next month that stands in front of us is called "The Mărțișor Month," our children have begun to work hard on this chapter. Out of their hands, of course coordinated by an outstanding "teacher", wonderful things came out! (pictures 14-17)

Thanks in the heart of friends from the Kinder und Behindertenhilfe Foundation in Germany, who came to our aid in a necessity pressing on our shoulders. With their help, we managed to dig a new fountain to feed the children's house with water, the fountain that is 17 m deep, of which 6 m of water. (picture 18)

Last but not least we thank Dina, a young woman from Germany, who chose to be with our children and young people for 2 weeks to teach them some interesting things about the artistic side: cardboard creations, 3D masks, scenes, music, games, etc. All the kids were excited and these two weeks certainly were a win for them.

We appreciate and thank you all for the beautiful collaboration!
