The month of December, also called the "month of gifts", went very fast at Casa Ray. Cleaning, food, cooking, decorations, removing snow, rehearsals, visits, poems, carols, and again removing snow, and cleaning, gifts, food again and ... it was already 31^st of December. We can relive the moments of this month, just through the pictures, now that everything has passed.

          First things first! Our friends in Germany, Georg and Hoegen have managed to visit us this year, making us a beautiful surprise. They did not have much time with us, but we enjoyed the moments spent together. They also made a joy to the children, giving them a blanket and a nice gift. (pictures 1-4)

          With the help of God, we managed to complete the sanitation of the bedrooms with a fresh lime, the main actors in this activity being Ovidiu and Alexandru. Thank you for your involvement! (picture 5)

          And because it's all about House Ray's building, we keep in mind that God has miraculously cared for the project to replace the windows and doors. We are glad to announce that the necessary amount has been collected and we want to thank them from the heart of all those involved. God to reward you!

          Not because of the tradition that is in Romania, that near Christmas we sacrifice pigs, but because of the necessity we have at Casa Ray, this month our freezers were filled with 2 pigs, one calf and 4 turkeys. There is no point in mentioning the work done and the resulting fatigue, but ... it was worth it. Part of the result can be seen in picture 9 at "Christmas breakfast". We also thank those involved!           Of course, winter holidays have also set footprints on our creative workshop. We are increasingly satisfied with the achievements of our children. Congratulations to Catalina, the coordinator of this department. And to Alexander, congratulations on the great results in the category "decorating the house". Every year he does a great job!           The removing of snow, we talked about, has often turned into play, which turns work into something pleasant for our youth. (picture 15)

          From the holiday preparation category, we also have some activities like: haircuts, rehearsals and food. (pictures 16,17)

          And because in picture 17 appears Ana, we also mention a great joy that we had from 9 of the children who grew up in our family. I received with great joy their visit this month, namely: Mihai’s, Cristian’s, Diana’s, Andreea’s, Ciprian’s, Tudor’s, Ana’s, Andrusca’s and Maria’s visits. We thank them for not forgetting where they left.! (pictures 18-22)

          As far as donations are concerned, this month we have been blessed with a pack of clothes from Germany, food and last but not least wood. We thank the loyal donors who share with us the tasks of raising these children. (pictures 23,24)

          Throughout this month full of holidays, at Casa Ray we had only one celebration, namely Nicu, a child who became a fine young boy. He's one of the tallest boys. He turned with the help of the Lord 14 years and is 1.75 m tall. :) (picture 25)

          The Christmas sermon began on the evening of December 24, when the kids went caroling. (picture 26). Then followed the celebration of the Betel church, we also visited the church in Buhusi, Bodesti, the Elim church in Piatra Neamt on the occasion of the second celebrations and ... we finished with the Casa Ray celebration. (pictures 27-29). As for the series of gifts, it started earlier on December 6, on the occasion of the "Mos Neculai" day, when children in Romania are used to receiving a sweet one or a thin branch. :) Our children have all received sweets this time.           Later, at the end of the month, the line of gifts continued and we would like to thank all those who thought to pay attention to the children of Casa Ray on the occasion of the birthday of our Savior. God bless you all!(picture 30)
