The month of May had 5 birthdays ! Mihaela ( 22 years ), Vlad ( 18 Years ), Antonio ( 15 years), Costi ( 15 years ) and Elena ( 11 years ). Of course,we had  the traditional birthday cakes but also the oldest ones received a cake made out of their favourite drink Coca Cola. ( 1-3 )

              Because the weather helped us a lot, we already gathered the first crop of hey. The hey That remain after the fire was just enough to feed our cows and when the hey was over, the new grass was grown so we could take them out to graze. So, we could see God watch over us also in this little aspect! ( 4 )

             We also managed to put some fire wood aside , for the winter. All the children helped. We still need 15 m cubs of wood in order to have enough fire wood for the winter.( 5 )

            Our farm gas gotten bigger with 80 chicks and 50 turkeys. We are very happy that we can provide healthy food for our children from chicken grown in our own yard. ( 6,7,8 )

          In the first week of the month, we had the Easter. The children enjoyed the beautiful weather and the free days from school( 9,10,11,12 ). But of course, the day of restarting the school has come so they all had to go back to home- working. ( 13 )

           The constructions are evolving very well. We poured the ciment of the first level, we have the foundation for the second building but because of the rain the works have been slow in the second half of the month ( 14 – 22 ). On top of the washing room and the heating system room we must to poured ciment plaque  because of the regulations. Also because of these regulations we had to move the washing machine room to another place and change the place of the clothes(23,24).  Even if it rained for 2 weeks and it was difficult for the construction evolution, still, the workers had things to do: they built the inner walls.(25,26,27)

           We received a donation from a company called Carmeuse from Brasov: 5 pallets of plaster that will be very helpful at finishings at the walls. We will pray that God will send His blessings upon these people and we will try to advertise them as much as we can.(28) We also received from our friends from Brasov lots of paint brushes, a gas heating system, furniture and clothes for the children. We want God to bless all the people that have a heart for the orphans!!!(29)

             In the middle of the month we received the visit of a very dear friend of our, called Andrei Pascu, which has not forgotten from where he left and even if he lives in Germany for many years, now he still thinks about the orphans from Romania. He came with two italian friends called Filippo and Giusepe and we had a great time together. They all spent time with the children, they encouraged us,  they gave to children advice and they assured us of their help in all our projects. These kind of people encourage us a lot because we can see Him close to us, watching over us.(30,31)

          May also brought the chanse to our blue van who was rusted to be painted. Now it looks like an old lady with lots of skin foundation. Anyway, we are very glad we have it because it is very helpful to us!!(32) One more item got his chanse to be replaced in May month, that is the kitchen furniture who also was broken.(33,34,35)

            A good girlfriend of ours from Holand sent us 100 euro to buy something for the children. The Childrens Day was getting close so we decided to take all the children to the Circus. We saw an extraordinary show with exotic animals so we had 2 hours of great entertainment!!(36,37)

           In the end of the month we received 2 visits with great emotional load for us: Ciorhan Georgiana, one of the girls who were raised up at Casa Ray from when she was 10 years old, came with her 3 daghters to visit her 2 brothers who are at Casa Ray: Vlad and Cristian.  We were very glad to see her again but we were sad to see that she leave together with Vlad who just turned 18 and decided to leave to Irland and live with his sister there. She's been there since 2013. This was his decision and it might be a good chanse for his life. He finished this year of school. Vlad has been at Casa Ray since he was 5 years old. (38, 39, 40)

           The second visit was also very emotional: Ciprian's sister (14 years) came to visit him. They never knew of each others existance until now. When they were small, the father took Ciprian and the mother took away the girl so they didn't know of one another. She wanted to see her brother, they hugged a lot, and they talked for a long time. Now they know they are not alone in the world. (41)

          Everything that happens at Casa Ray is loaded with emotions, but the hardest thing to do is when we have to say good bye to one of our children... We invested a lot of feelings in them so we worry very much about their future but in the end we realize that God is in charge  of everything and He knows better!!!
