April 2022

We all want the hope that came into the world with the resurrection of Christ fills your hearts and homes. Christ is risen!!

We celebrated Easter in peace and quiet, even though the house was full of bustle in the days leading up to the holiday. Visits from children who grew up at Ray House, visits from friends at home, visits from relatives, visits to relatives, cleaning, food, relaxation, songs about the death and resurrection of Jesus all created a festive atmosphere. We leave you to feel a crunchy moment of these, looking at the following photos. (pictures 1 - 22)

At the beginning of the month, more precisely on April 11, we had another occasion of celebration, when Doinita and Cristi got engaged. We say again that God will fully bless them and give them wisdom at every step on this new path they have set out on. (picturea 23-27)

And two more reasons to celebrate, Vasilica who turned 10 and Ionela who turned 13. Blessed are you, dear ones! (pictures 28,29)

These were the reasons for the celebration in April, but there were more reasons for joy. We still have to list J

With God's help, we managed to plant all kinds of vegetables in the garden just before a few rainy days. It was a great joy also because the garden was set up and because God gave it rain. (pictures 30 – 33)

Another great joy was receiving a donation from Delaco. We truly thank them for this very important gesture, but we also thank our friend Hans Alt for his words in this direction. Bless you dear Hans for your heart! (picture 34)

Thank God for the 5 piglets born in April (picture 35) and for helping us renovate the orchard with another 20 trees( picture 36) and for helping us buy 350 broilers and 50 eggs (picture 37).

We are also satisfied that we managed to donate to the school a number of 21 school benches. Let them be useful! (picture 38)

We are also happy that we managed to empty 2 of the pits, one with a vacuum, but one from the animals had to be emptied by hand, because it could not be "vacuumed" mechanically. (pictures 39, 40)

We also thank God for our George, who recovered well after the operation on appendicitis. He felt sick one evening, so we had to call an ambulance and when he got to the hospital, it was found that he needed surgery. Now he is well, at home, he has already passed the recovery period. (picture 41)

Now he is well, at home, he has already passed the recovery period. After 2 years of waiting for different work teams, now in April they all crowded J We rebuilt the roof of a warehouse where we can store various goods (picture 42), we made a fence to delimit the vegetable garden and protect it from ducks and chickens that would nibble on the best (picture 43), we started to arrange 2 spaces inside the hall, one where we would like to grow turkeys and one for storing cereals (picture 44). We started to turn the old vegetable garden into a parking lot, because the yard is always full of cars, and children can hardly slip with rollers, scooters and bicycles among the cars. With the soil removed from this garden we managed to arrange certain green spaces on the farm.(picture 45). We also managed other various works such as: arranging a roof for bird pens, installation of gutters and downspouts in halls, pouring a gutter for collecting water and pouring a footbridge for access to the new parking lot. (pictures 46 - 49)

Thank God for His help and many thanks to you who have been with us in various ways.

          We hug you dearly!
