Welcome back!

          With God's help, this spring we planted about 25 new fruit trees in our orchard. Various varieties of fruit trees, from which we hope that in a few years, we can taste full of gratitude. We also planted raspberry seedlings that leave our mouths watering just as we think about them. (pictures 1 and 2) Spring cleaning was also important, the wind scattering on our property no less than 18 garbage bags.(picture 3)

          This spring was quite cold in our area, so the arrangement of the garden and the solarium was a little late, but at the end of April, the natural fertilizer was spread in the gardens, and seedlings and seeds of all kinds were planted. (pictures 4-6) God made it rain, made it grow, and at the end of May, we were already able to use greens from our own garden, and weeds were to be taken out… with bags. (picture 7)

          As for the farm, we bought several broilers, which with the help of the Lord developed very nicely, and the losses were much less than last year. (pictures 8,9) Animal feed - birds, pigs, cows, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, goats, are always on the edge, and the mill must grind continuously, but naturally grown meat, eggs, milk and all the goodies that come to us from our own farm, are worth the effort. (pictures 10,11) And the latest novelty in this regard is a pregnant cow received as a gift. Thanks to the donors! (picture 12)

          The cleanliness and the preparations for the feast of the death and resurrection of Christ - Easter, mobilized the whole house, everyone was involved, in all fields. We let the photos speak for ourselves. (pictures 13-24) Then the children had the relaxation of the free days (pictures 25-27), the joy of the guests who visited us (Maria, Rahela and a team of friends from Iasi) and the joy made by the gifts received (pictures 28-35). Thousands of thanks to those who contributed to the happiness of the children through these wonderful gifts! Dana Polotanu and the team, Mrs. Stoian and the team, Hans Alt, be very blessed!

          And if we are still on the donation chapter, we have a few more thanks to submit. Michael Schmidt, thanks for the minibus and the masks sent, are of real use to us! Cornel Haures, the eggs donated by you saved us a lot of money! Thank you! (pictures 36-38)

          Infinite thanks also to God who helped us to obtain during this period also the Operation License, a very important document, without which Casa Ray cannot function. It is valid for 5 years. (picture 39) We are also very grateful and full of gratitude that we escaped well from the second round of COVID infections that we had at Casa Ray. This time we had more people in isolation than in "freedom"”. 9 children, 3 employees and 2 volunteers faced this virus, but thank God, they all had mild symptoms, such as a cold. (picture 40)

          The celebrations of April and May were Vasilica, Ionela and Elena. A big surprise was Elena, who for the first time in her life met her brother, a really emotional meeting. (pictures 41-44)

          The end of May also brought us great joy, when we were able to start the project: “Insulation of buildings” at Ray House. We thank the friends from America who put their shoulder to our side in this great challenge that was in front of us. We can't wait for the work to be completed, so we can show you the final result. (pictures 45-48)

          Now in the end, because we are often asked what our needs are, what problems we face, we want to let you know that at the beginning of August, we would like to send the children to the camp. Last year, due to the pandemic, the children could not have this joyful experience, so we ask for your support in this direction. We strongly believe that being a part of creating beautiful memories for the children at Casa Ray is a common goal for both us and you, dear friends.
