The beginning of June had an expected event for children all year round: the end of the school!!! With the help of God, all our children have graduated this school year, some with good results and others have hardly gone "the finish line.” We are, however, glad that everyone has graduated! Also on June 1 we celebrated the day of the child in Romania. We marked this day with a barbecue and ... play! (1-4)

          Doinita and Florin are teenagers who have gone to another level. They graduated from the eighth grade and have now been admitted to high school. Up to this point, they had extra work for the capacity exam and had the festivity, which marked the completion of the gymnasium school. We are glad for them two to have been able to enter high school and wish them success. (5,6)

          After a break of one and a half year we managed to go back to McDonald's with the kids. They honored the invitation to the Pentecostal church of Margineni and were rewarded by a member of that church with a visit to their favorite restaurant. On this occasion, we also celebrated the birthday of Constantin Butoi, who was 15 years old. (7-12)

          Also, with the help of God and benevolent people, we managed to surround the children's playground this month. Now they can play football, volleyball and more without the fear of losing balls. (13-16)

          Our green house is set up and stocked with all kinds of saplings. The garden also enjoyed a lot of rain this season ... you can see this taking into account the huge amount of weeds that had to be sown. We hope that in the autumn we will be able to collect a huge amount of fruit. Also some of the animal feed was collected. (17-20)

          Another big victory we had in June was the fact that we managed to register free of charge the minibus for which we had to pay 14,000 Euros before we could enroll it. This has been possible due to recent political changes. We praise God for taking this great burden from our shoulders! (21)

          Andrusca, our girl that we think you know, was blessed this month with a little girl named Ruth Debora. We are very happy for Andrusca that she has such a beautiful family and she is happy and now she has become mother. (22)

          The visit of some new friends from Germany also delighted us. They visited our home and talked with Doinita in particular, listening to her life story. They were excited and moved by what they heard, so they ended the visit with a prayer for her and the other children at Casa Ray. (23,24)

          We also want to remember those big-hearted people who sent us food this month. We received potatoes from Pastraveni and various dairy and dessert varieties from Delaco. This kind of donations is very helpful and we thank you! (25,26,27)

          At the end of the month we also had an event expected by children throughout the year. The visit of our friends from America! This year we were blessed with a larger team of 10 people. The preparations that preceded this visit were like for a wedding, but all of us worked joyfully knowing what a nice time will follow.(28-33) On this occasion, the sports hall with the bath, the hall for celebrations and various meetings with the bath were completed and inaugurated. (34-37)

          The nearly two weeks spent with our friends are hard to describe in words ... but the tears of separation at the end speak for themselves. Time of fellowship, manual work, walks, games, games and more games, plays, songs, important decisions made, emotional discussions, special meals, water battles, anniversaries, abundant rain, hectic, beautiful sunsets, competitions, new friends, friendships through photos etc .. in a few words, creating very beautiful memories for children. Children are emotionally blessed after such meetings. These friends have a positive effect on them and we thank God for all those who offer their work from Casa Ray from their heart.(38-73)

          Looking back, we can say we had an excellent month! Even if there are some big problems we are facing, we'll get them to you in a further information. Now we want to enjoy together these beautiful memories!
