We can describe December in four words: work, competition, visits, presents.

          Because all the preparements for the holidays, the month of December had all kinds of WORKS: holidays rehersals, general cleaning in the house, killing 2 pigs and making all kinds of culinaries delights, decorating the house, and all kinds of chores. (1,2 )

          We also worked a lot for the handmade COMPETITION organized by the Child Protection Department where all the Centres in the County participated. The children together with Catalina started working in October and managed to finish 300 objects. You can admire them in the pictures and we are sure that you will also think they are excelent. They got a "congratulation diploma". (3-15)

          As you now, on the 6th of December, all the children receive a little present, some a symbolic rod and others received sweets. The children from Casa Ray were not excluded from this custom and because we only have good kids so they all received sweets. (16-17)

          Regarding visits, we are always happy to have guests and usually, in December, we have lots of it. This month, this year, we didn't have many guests. Still, we are not complaining. 

          The first visit was received by Denisa. She was visited by her father and a neighbour of hers. They wanted to see where she lives now. They spent 20 minutes together and they promised to come back again. Denisa and her two brothers of hers got abandoned by their mother and their father is trying to recover after depression and try to create good conditions for his children. (18)

          Jim and Esther, two good friends of ours from America, came and spent quality time with our young children who were small children when they saw them last time they saw them. They took the children to a nice pizza place in Piatra Neamt and they enjoyed spending time and remembering old memories. (19)

           Anca Radulescu came together with her association "Ioana and the angel children" team . Even if they have been through hard moments in 2016 they still managed to make children from Casa Ray happy through their visit and donations. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! ( 20-22)

           Our friend from a life time, Georg, from Germany, came and brought presents for the children, for Christmas. He came with his son Ruben and two other friends Max and Hoegen. Even if their visit was a short one, it brought a lot of joy in our id's hearts. So, we want to thank everyone to all our friends who helped us with the presents. (23-24)

            In December, we also received the visit of the youth who out-grew out center and now have their lives elsewhere. Mihaela, Diana, Vlad, Andreea and Andrusca were the ones that made us happy this way. We are so happy to see them independent and "on their feet". (25-26)

            Towards the end of the month, we enjoyed the holidays where the children sang beautiful songs, caroling bringing the good news, the birth of Mesia. On the 24th the children sang carols. (27-30)
