Events in August 2015
August: last summer month and last month of holiday. We did not let it go anyway!
"Knowing" that summer is almost over, a mischievous kitten has stuck her claws in the pool that cheered up the children this season. Now ... farewell pool ... we'll see how we'll solve the problem next summer.
At the beginning of this month, the youth over 15 years went to a camp in Voroneţ for six days. They had a wonderful time there, felt very well together with other 70 young people.When they returned home, for a few days they told how how good they felt and we saw even some change between some of them.They have more patience with the small children, speak and behave and also play nicer. We are very pleased with the results of this camp.
After they returned home, the friendships made in the camp did not break. During the rest of the holiday they visited each other quite often, talking and playing together.
Casa Ray was supplied with 25 chickens for eggs. Having fresh and natural eggs is very important for our children. Also, in our farm the number of pigs has also increased. We had two sows that have calved, so we still have eight pigs.
Mihaela was selected by a coach from Timisoara to take from a soccer team for girls.So she wanted to try this experience. She went to Germany, where she had a match, which unfortunately did not win.However, the experience of seeing another country will remain in her heart as a pleasant one.After finishing with football, she went to Sibiu to some old friends, who helped her to find some work on the remaining period until she starts the 2nd year of college.And this experience will surely use her in life.
In August we had two accidents: Florin and Ana. Ana broke her hand in camp, trying to defend a ball at soccer, and Florin cut his foot bad enough, that he had to be sewn and dressed very often. Now both are well, but Florin has added a nasty scar on his memories.
English courses continued, even though it was holiday. Children are delighted whenever Rebecka comes to them.
Alexander, our oldest boy (aged 19) has begun to take steps in order to enroll to Nursing College in Piatra Neamt. He would like to finish this school, to be an ambulance driver. Does not sound bad!
Vasile, Ionel and "Vater Mihai" have celebrated their birthdays in August. Each has a special place in our hearts.
Because autumn is approaching, our garden has begun to bear fruit. We are very grateful to God for the beautiful fruits and vegetables that he gave us.
We are grateful to those who have thrilled us with their visit in August. The first was Dan Rotaru, a friend from Germany, then Georg's family, also from Germany (an old friend), followed by Hans Alt everything with a team from Germany, then from Politic family from Suceava. All visits we received show that we are loved by many people and that God cares for us through many precious people.
