April was a very eventful month!!

         Since the beginning of the month we have seen an improvement in children's behavior. They gave their best to behave nicer to each other, but they have a lot of work in this respect, and besides this, they are interested in doing what is pleasing God. This can only make us happy!

          We are very satisfied that the children are interested in going to contests and extra curricular activities. They brought home lots of diplomas. Dodita Vasile is a very good poet and he took a diploma at school for composed poems.

          Cristian and Doina are two kids very hardworking. Because of this we thought to reward them buying them new clothes and shoes and we did this to spur others to follow their example.

          Unfortunately Constantin did not feel too well this month and had to go to hospital, where he remained hospitalized for several days. Thank God it was nothing serious and is now home with us.

          Another problem that we faced in April is mud in the yard. Both during the fall, winter and spring, our yard is like a "pool of mud". Children have very dirty clothes and bring a lot of dirt in the house. And after all the dust during the rainy season passes ... the yard is shrouded by wind and is settled everywhere. We have some promise in this direction and we hope that this problem will be solved quickly.

          The children were very happy for the Easter holiday and the delicious traditional food .They also went to different churches with programs.

          Vasile, broke a front tooth, but after he saw how it looks in the picture, he started laughing and sadness disappeared.

          Children worked with more love after receiving some nice overalls. They also made photos with great pleasure.

          As the old wood shed that we have was quite degraded, it had to be rebuilt. The boys immediately filled it with wood and some craftsmen rebuilt the roof. Now the children are safe when they are around the new barn.

          We were entrusted to an orchard which for years has not been taken care of, so to enjoy a rich fruit in autumn, we called someone and cleared the trees, we dug the root of the trees and whited the strains. Now, all we have left is to wait! We hope that our expectations are not in vain.

          Cristian washed one of our personal cars, and when we wanted to pay him for the work done, he refused. He preferred instead of money to take him to our house for a day. He was extremely happy when his dream came true!

          April was the time when some children have experienced first taste of coconut. It was a pleasant experience for them!

          At the end of the month we have been visited by Michaela, a German friend, with whom we spent beautiful moments. We are happy every time we are visited, both by old and new friends, and others who do not know us yet.

          At the end of the month we had a surprise from the cow received in March. She gave birth to a beautiful heifer. Now "Gina" is the star of our household.

          Our garden began to take shape: some whitewashed the stones around the roses, others have planted flowers, others dug the garden and others planted , but God is the one who makes it grow!

          Children took advantage of every day from the short holiday they had. They had plenty of activities: football, hiking, chess, bike rides, crafts, cleaning activities, themes etc.
