January - February 2025

Here we are in the year 2025. A year that should have shown the evolution of the world over the centuries, but unfortunately we see degradation at every step. Romania is going through turbulent times, so we invite you with all our love to support us and our country with prayer.

In our little universe, at Casa Ray and Casa Tatiana, we try to keep things in balance and in continuous evolution, our helper being God.

We started January by decorating the tree and the house, a reason to work together again. (photo 1)

Because winter is still in full swing, we also purchased a wood car. (photo 2)

The hardworking and skilled Ionut built a cart that he attached to our tractor, to make his work easier in the future. (photo 3)He also reconditioned the fence that had deteriorated (photos 4,5), chopped the branches that resulted from the autumn cleaning of the orchard (photos 6,7,8), reconditioned the mower and with the help of the children filled it (photos 9,10,11), started preparing the solarium (photos 12,13) and renovated a former bedroom, transforming it into an office (photos 14,15).

The hardworking and skilled Alexandru, together with the hardworking and skilled Gabriela, chopped corn stalks at the mill, received from a neighbor, only good for our animals. (photos 16,17)

Thank God that in these months he took care of us, sending us the necessary things through dear friends. We even received a donation of strawberries, so don't be surprised if you find jars in our pantry that say "strawberry jam-January 2025" (photos 18-24)

On our farm we made a change, replacing the goats with sheep. We had a hard time finding a place for the goats to graze during the summer. Now the sheep have also given us lambs, 7 in number for now. (photo 25) We also have 5 little kittens. (photo 26)

The children had various activities depending on the school periods or short intersemester vacations. They took care of household chores (photo 27), enjoyed the “last coats shaken by the old woman in winter” (photos 28,29,30), visited their family (photo 31), were sponsored to go out to McDonald’s (photos 32,33,34), went shopping and then to play football like boys. (photos 35-39)

Last but not least, we want to say a blessing over Denisa Cojocaru, the only one celebrated during this period, a beautiful 16-year-old young woman. Be blessed, dear Denisa! (photo 40)
