August - September 2024
August, summer, big vacation, holidays, so we could enjoy the visit of several groups, which brightened our days and enriched our hearts:
- The group of Romanians settled in Italy, in Padua, led by pastor Nicu Vaida, (pictures 1-4)
- The group of friends from Germany from the association Kinder und BehindreHilfe, (pictures 5-7)
- The group of friends from Ireland, (pictures 8,9)
- Dear friend Clauddine from Germany, who volunteered with us for 2 weeks, (picture 10)
For all of them, in addition to the existing accommodation spaces, we have arranged 2 bedrooms with two toilets. (pictures 11, 12)
The Brai brothers visited their grandmother and aunt (picture 13).
I went in with all the children and the staff for a TB check, because there are cases in the families of some of the children. Thank God, we don't have any cases, only preventive treatments for 5 of the children (picture 14). Also, the children continue counseling with psychologists, speech therapists and other specialists in different branches of medicine. (picture 15)
In August and September we had 3 celebrations, Dumitrita, Natalia and Laura. (picture 16)
When autumn approached, we started to gather the harvest and preserve it for the winter. We thank the Lord for all the fruits, both those grown in our garden and those received as a donation. (pictures 17-22) The children also enjoyed the farm animals and the chickens in their new home. (pictures 23, 24)
Regarding the arrangements, Ionut with his hands of gold refurbished the pavilion, the swings, built a gutter to avoid flooding the terrace, I changed the torn film from the pavilion, added support bars to the steps, arranged a new space for dumpsters etc. (pictures 25-29)
All the children were able to enjoy a camp at Eforie Nord, supported by funds from the County Council, and our girls enjoyed a second surprise, another four-day stay, offered by Dr. Mohamad Murat at Phenicia Blue View. (photos 30-45)
When we returned home, we went directly to "the bread", did the shopping and sent the children to school. (photos 46-47)
