We all, the employees, the volunteers and all the children of Casa Ray, entered the new year good, healthy and cheerful.

The first day of the year, high school students have spent the New Year's Eve in their families. There they played games and had some interesting discussions, and counsel from a girl who grew up here at us, but now she has her own family.

We did not have much snow this winter, it snowed a few days and melted very quickly. However, when it was snow, children took advantage and played with great pleasure.

God has shown us since the beginning of the year how He cares for His children. We have received some pita bread from Switzerland, and our cooks could do many shaorma, which the children enjoyed very much. They are grateful that they have to eat.

In January we had some really warm days, so we managed to make some repairs to a wall of the terrace. These repairs have been made even by some of our children. First they stood by a craftsman and now they know how to whitewash small areas.

Also this month, God put His hand on a man's heart in Piatra Neamt and he donated us 2 cars full of wood for winter. This was a big surprise for us because it's the first time we have so early wood for next winter.

In mid-February we were visited by 2 missionaries from India. They showed us pictures of children, with another orphanage in India and told them how their lives there develops. This experience I think it's useful for the children.

Cristian celebrated 15 years on January 7th, Doina 12 years on January 8th, and Ciprian 10 years on January 14th . All 3 had a cake to enjoy with other children.

            From the goods that we have received, we have managed to bring some joy also to a family with many children. It is a great pleasure to receive gifts, but also to give.
